    Patrick Salisbury Prize 2025

Alexandra Jones has been nominated for the Patrick Salisbury Prize for Musical Endeavour this year.

Alexandra has a beautiful voice and has worked hard on her technique this year to improve her vocal control. She is enthusiastic and committed and enjoys a very broad range of musical styles. She has even started singing in a band and will be performing at a local festival this summer.
    — Anna Shackleton, Matrix Arts Centre, Sutton Courtenay

This is the fourth year the Patrick Salisbury Prize for Musical Endeavour has been awarded. Patrick Salisbury was the founder of the All Saints’ Singers. When he stepped down from his role as president a few years ago the choir decided to show their appreciation of Patrick’s many years of service by setting up an annual award for ten years, to be given to a music student from the village. Matrix Arts Centre made a small contribution to the fund and help the choir by identifying the recipient of the award.

    Autumn/Winter Term 2025

This term we will be singing Rutter’s Gloria and Cecilia McDowall’s A Winter’s Night in a concert on Sunday, 7th December, with Christmas carols for audience participation.
